Privacy Policy

What we collect

Account: your email address, the display name you choose, and when you agreed to these policies.

Listings: what you enter, including the bike's details, price, photos, frame or serial number, and the ZIP code you list from. We remove location data (EXIF) from photos when you upload them.

Location: the ZIP code you give us. Listings show an approximate area, never your address, and map pins are deliberately offset.

Messages: what you send other people through E-MotoTrader.

Use: searches (used to find gaps in what's listed), listings you save, and reports you send.

How we use it

To run the site: show listings, connect buyers and sellers, send the emails you've asked for, and keep the site safe, which includes reviewing listings and flagged messages.

We don't sell or share your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who processes it for us

Supabase stores the database, sign-in and photos. Lovable and Cloudflare host the site. Resend sends our emails. OpenFreeMap supplies map tiles, so it sees your IP address when you open the map.

If they're switched on: Sentry receives error reports (without your name, email, cookies or form contents), and PostHog receives anonymous usage analytics without cookies. You can turn analytics off on the Your privacy choices page (https://e-mototrader.com/privacy-choices). We honour Global Privacy Control.

Cookies

We only store what's needed to keep you signed in and remember your settings. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

From your account page you can download everything we hold about you, turn off emails, and delete your account. Deleting it removes your profile, listings, photos, messages and saved listings.

We keep a minimal record that an account was deleted, and records of moderation and bans where we need them to prevent fraud.

E-MotoTrader isn't for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
