Who can use E-MotoTrader

You must be 18 or older to create an account. One account per person.

You're responsible for what happens under your account. Keep access to your email secure, since that's how you sign in.

What we are, and aren't

E-MotoTrader lists bikes, parts and gear for sale and lets buyers and sellers message each other. We don't own, inspect or hold any item, we don't take payment, and we aren't a party to any sale. Buyers and sellers deal with each other directly.

We don't verify every listing. A frame or serial number check against a theft registry, where shown, is a check on the number the seller gave, not a guarantee of title.

Listings

You must own what you list, or be authorised to sell it, and describe it honestly: its condition, history, modifications and any problems you know of.

Listings go through review before they're shown, and we can decline, edit for format, or remove any listing. A listing runs for 30 days and can be renewed.

Many states limit how many vehicles a private person may sell in a year before a dealer licence is needed. You're responsible for following the laws that apply to you.

Nothing listed may be on the Prohibited items list (https://e-mototrader.com/legal/prohibited-items).

Street legality

Most electric dirt bikes are for off-road use only and aren't street legal. E-MotoTrader never says a bike is legal to ride on a road. Check local rules before you buy or ride.

Messaging and conduct

Use messages to arrange a sale, and follow the Acceptable use policy (https://e-mototrader.com/legal/acceptable-use). We may flag messages that look like scams, such as requests for deposits, wire transfers or gift cards, and our moderators can read flagged conversations.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give E-MotoTrader LLC a licence to host, display and promote it on E-MotoTrader for as long as it's on the site, and for a reasonable time after, in backups and records.

Suspension and closing your account

We can limit, suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other people at risk. You can delete your account at any time from your account page.
